BELL WIRE 2 AMP

ELW-050-100

Question

Is the bell wire suitable to use when replacing the wires on my ray box?

Answer

The bell wire should be OK to use if the bulb in your ray box is no more than 24 Watts.
This wire is rated at 2 Amps, which is the current a ray box will draw at 12V with a 24W bulb fitted. If the bulb is 36W the current will be 3 A, which may melt the wire, or at least make it hot.
