Which solvent should be used for chromatography of food dyes?

 

Answer

A suggested solvent to use is 0.1% w/v NaCl in distilled water. Also sggested is 0.% w/w NaCl in water. Other solvents could include water, ethanol or a water/ethanol mixture.
