Sodium hydroxide

"S8001379 & S8001320"

Question

Sodium hydroxide,  pellets & pearl - what is the difference?

Answer

The difference between the two types of sodium hydroxide is simply the size of the granules. Chemically they are the same.
The pearl type consists of small round grains, slightly larger than sugar grains, whereas the pellets are much larger - more like a split pea in size.
