What does this test for and what are the colour changes?

 

Answer

Used as a general test for reducing sugars AND non-reducing sugars. 2 types, known as Fehling's A & B or Fehling's 1 & 2. A positive test for sugars gives a red (Copper (l) oxide) precipitate.
